I’m not going to lie, I’ve certainly gone after awards. It was a great way to learn how to craft ideas and executions. I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the best in the business. They certainly help knock open doors. However, I believe the true measure of an idea is how well they work out there, in the wild - amongst conversations, in-and-around people’s lives. Does it motivate them enough to want to interact?
